Community Education Session on the NDSI - In Hindi
Do you have a disability or care for someone who does?
Do you want to find out more about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and how it can support you?
If so, then you don’t want to miss this Community Education Session sponsored by the FutureAbility Project of Settlement Services International (SSI), organised by Macarthur Diversity Services Initiative and presented by trained members of the community. The session will be held in Hindi and will cover:
- What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?
- Who can access the NDIS?
- How to access the NDIS?
- What does pre-planning, planning, implementation and review mean?
This session is designed for people with disability from the Hindi backgrounds, their family and carers.
Refreshments upon arrival and lunch after the session will be provided.

MDSI is teaming up with Macarthur Astronomical Society and Western Sydney University to bring you four special events. Come with family & friends to view the sky through the observatory domes & professional telescopes & learn more about Astronomy.
TIMETABLE OF EVENTS
5:00pm: Lecture in building 21, WSU by Dr Ragbir Bhathal, (Director, Campbelltown Rotary Observatory, WSU)
5:45pm: Meet & greet below the domes with music, entertainment & sausage sizzle/drinks with gold coin donation)
6:00pm/Sundown: Stargazing commences with Macarthur Astronomical Society at the Campbelltown Rotary Observatory, University Drive, Macarthur Heights
These events are weather permitting.

These are ‘red light’ events, no camera flash or bright torches are permitted.

NATURE CLAY PRINTS
Children participating in Kids Club activities must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Refreshments will be available and this is a great opportunity to meet other families in the community. Activities are aimed at primary school aged children, however parents can assist younger children in activities if desired. Parents/guardians will be required to sign registration forms for their children at commencement of activities.
Life skills, coaching, planning, networking and mentoring.
This program will be delivered in 10 weekly sessions starting on Thursday, 3rd of May 2018.
Sessions include: Life skills, coaching, planning, networking and mentoring sessions in career, education, health, personal finances, family and personal development.
